Maxine produces a range of own label 
interior products that are designed 
and sampled in her studio in Margate, 
Kent. All the screen printing, embroidery 
and shade making is also carried out in the 
studio, whilst some extra sewing tasks are 
outsourced to local seamstresses and 
manufacturers. The product range uses 
organic cotton and natural linen, with 
Soil Association approved inks. Importantly 
the new drum shades are made with an 
eco-bleach card backing and not the 
standard PVC laminate which is so harmful 
to the environment.
